It's not too late for kids and teens to sign up for a variety summer camps and sports clinics sponsored by the Bloomfield Recreation Department.? Affordable sessions from two weeks to six weeks long are offered from now until August.

SPORTS CLINICS
Eight weeks of Sports Clinics includes co-ed Track and Field at Foley Field this week, as well as co-ed Tennis at Pulaski Park and Co-Ed Golf.? The Golf clinic includes a day trip to the Essex Family Golf Center for range play and mini golf.
A new addition this year is Co-Ed Dance, teaching children a variety of dance styles. The clinic runs from August 6-10 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $30 for Bloomfield residents and $40 for others.

SUMMER CAMPS
A variety of specialty camps are also being offered.? Check out next week's offerings: Football, Co-Ed Design and Technology Problem Solving, Co-Ed Bowling at Brunswick Zone in Belleville, and TripTych Wall Art Design taught by local florist, Bloomflora.
Summer camps are also being offered at area schools, such as Oakview School's "Playgroup" and "Recreation Station" at Demarest School.
Oakview's program teaches children social interaction from 9 a.m. to noon for children ages four and five. Session 1 runs from? July 2 -13, Session 2 goes from July 16-27 and Session 3 is? July 30 through August 10. Drop off is at 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Demarest School's program, serving kids in grades K-7, offers day trips to see the New York Liberty Women?s Basketball Association game at NJPAC, a trip to an IMAX movie and a trip to FunPlex in East Hanover.?
Children who love animals will be thrilled to learn how to?safely pet and interact with live animals in the ?Animal Experience,? program.

SIGNING UP
Parents can sign children up for two-week increments or more. Discounts are available for families sending more than one child. Register in person, by phone or online at the Bloomfield Recreation Department website 973-743-9074.
The full list of sports clinics and specialty camps can be found on the site as well. Activities include golf, tennis, football, bowling, soccer, magic, karate, skateboarding, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, wiffle ball and advanced art instruction.?
